Saudi security forces raided the village of Umm al-Hamam in the al-Qatif region on Monday (January 7th), killing several wanted people and arresting others after an exchange of fire, local media reported Tuesday.
Security forces surrounded the village, before storming a number of rural houses in search of suspects wanted for attacking security elements and facilities, and for disrupting development projects in the Eastern Province.
Some of the suspects opened fire, which led to an exchange of fire with the security forces, local media reported.
