Jordan’s Anti-Narcotic Department (AND) last week arrested 13 suspected drug dealers across the kingdom, the Jordanian news agency, Petra, reported Sunday (October 28th).
AND found large quantities of various narcotics with the suspects and foiled an attempt to smuggle 35,000 pills.
Public Security Department spokesman Lt. Col. Amer Sartawi said the dealers arrested during the AND campaign were from the areas of Amman, Aqaba, South Shouneh, Zarqa and Mafraq.
AND personnel tracked and inspected a vehicle at a border crossing, inside which pills were found hidden, Sartawi said.
