Jordan’s King Abdullah on Thursday (June 14th) issued a decree approving a new government, led by Prime Minister Omar al-Razzaz, the Jordan Times reported.
The new cabinet includes 28 ministers, with newcomers including Rajai Muasher, who was appointed as deputy prime minister and minister of state.
Other cabinet members include Ezzeddine Kanakrieh, who will serve as finance minister, Ayman Safadi, as minister of foreign affairs and Jumana Ghneimat, as minister of state for media affairs.
Hala Zawati has been named as energy minister, Samir Mubaidin as interior minister, Abdul Nasser Abul Basal as Awqaf and Islamic affairs minister, and Nayef Fayez as minister of environment.
The cabinet includes seven women ministers.
