Jordanian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi on Wednesday (September 20th) took part in a ministerial meeting of the Global Counterterrorism Forum in New York, which was co-chaired by Morocco and the Netherlands, the Jordanian news agency, Petra, reported.
In remarks at the gathering, the minister renewed Jordan's commitment to working in co-operation and co-ordination with the global community to fight terror.

Safadi also took part in a meeting on preventing terrorist use of the internet at the UN General Assembly, co-hosted by British Prime Minister Theresa May, French President Emmanuel Macron and Italian Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni.
He underscored the need to strengthen efforts to eliminate terrorist groups, calling for concerted regional and international efforts to fight all forms and manifestations of terrorism.
He also called for blocking the spread of materials of extremist nature online, as part of the ideological war against terror.
The minister noted that Jordan has presented initiatives to combat terrorism and extremism, including the Amman Message that clarifies Islamic values of moderation and justice.
