Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi arrived in the UAE on Wednesday (May 3rd) for talks with top officials, AFP reported.
Al-Sisi, who was accompanied by Egypt's foreign and investment ministers on his two-day visit, met with Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan for talks on co-operation and the crises in Yemen, Syria and Libya, State-run news agency WAM said.
Egypt has received more than $20 billion in aid from Gulf countries, with the UAE alone last year pledging $5 billion.
