A member of al-Nusra Front (ANF), now known as Fatah al-Sham Front, was killed and another was wounded in a Thursday (April 6th) bomb attack in the outskirts of the eastern Lebanese border town of Arsal, local media reported.
The explosive device was planted by extremist rivals from the "Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant" (ISIL) in the Wadi Ajram area in the town's outskirts, the National News Agency reported.
Members of the two rival groups are entrenched in rugged areas along Lebanon's eastern border with Syria, with the Lebanese army regularly shelling their positions.
The two groups briefly overran Arsal in 2014 before being ousted by the Lebanese army after days of deadly battles.
