A suicide car bomb attack on a sports club in a Houthi-held town in central Yemen killed three people, including a child, and wounded eight others on Tuesday (February 14th), AFP reported.
The "Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant" (ISIL) claimed the attack, identifying the target as a meeting of Houthis (Ansarallah) inside the club in Radaa, a town in al-Bayda province.
"Houthi fighters opened fire on the car before it attacked the club, causing it to explode at the gate, leading to the deaths and injuries," a security official said.
A nearby school was also damaged, the source said.
