Saudi Arabia on Sunday (August 25th) intercepted six missiles fired by the Iran-backed Houthis (Ansarallah) from Yemen towards the Saudi city of Jizan, AFP reported.
The missiles targeted civilians in Jizan, the Arab coalition said in a statement released by the Saudi Press Agency.
No damage or casualties were reported.
The Houthis claimed the attempted attack on the Al-Masirah television station.
Earlier Sunday, the Arab coalition said it had shot down a Houthi drone fired towards the southern city of Khamis Mushayt, site of a major military base.
