Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi on Thursday (April 18th) received Saudi Arabia's Minister of State Essam bin Said, who passed on a message from King Salman bin Abdul-Aziz on enhancing strategic co-operation, Ahram Online reported.
The head of Egypt’s intelligence service, Abbas Kamel, and Saudi ambassador to Egypt Osama bin Nakly also attended the meeting.
King Salman’s message reflected the kingdom’s desire to maintain intense communication with Egypt on various regional and international issues.
Al-Sisi affirmed the important nature of Egyptian-Saudi relations, describing them as the cornerstone of regional stability.
