Yemeni armed forces extracted several mines and explosive devices from two primary schools, and multiple neighbouring buildings in the centre of Baqim directorate in Yemen's Saada, al-Arabiya reported Tuesday (January 8th).
The national army, which succeeded in reaching the facilities for the first time since the Iran-backed Houthis (Ansarallah) took control over them, is continuing to extract mines from the rest of the liberated areas in Baqim and its surroundings.
In al-Daleh province, army forces also completed the liberation of Tabab Husmi, following clashes with the Houthis, which resulted in the death of 15 of the militants and injury of others.
The army also took control of the mountains of Maharba and Mahlala, as well as a number of other villages.
