Egypt's naval forces launched the joint exercise 'The Eagle Response 2018' with the US, Saudi and Emirati navies on Tuesday (July 24th), the Egyptian Armed Forces said.
The naval drill will be conducted in Egyptian territorial waters in the Red Sea for several days, Egypt's Ahram Online reported Wednesday.
Units from the navies of Jordan, Pakistan and South Korea will participate in the exercise as observers.
Exercises will include theoretical lectures on dealing with marine mines as well as joint practical exercises on ship inspection.
