Four Bahraini policemen were wounded in a Sunday (February 26th) bomb attack on a bus near the village of Jaw, south of Manama, AFP reported.
The interior ministry said the injured are in "stable condition", adding that "necessary steps are being taken", without providing further details.
Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC) secretary-general Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani on Monday denounced the attack, the Bahrain News Agency reported.
The GCC chief expressed unflinching solidarity of GCC member states with Bahrain in all the security measures it takes to preserve the safety and security of citizens and residents and to combat terrorist groups.
