Joint drills between the Egyptian and Jordanian militaries began in southern Jordan on Monday (November 7th) and will continue until November 25th, Egypt's Ahram Online reported.
Egyptian naval, ground and special army forces are participating in the drills, known as "Aqaba 2016", according to Egypt's military spokesman.
The training includes lectures on launching joint missions and field trainings on conventional and non-traditional theories and tactics to "develop operational readiness and share experiences with the Jordanian armed forces", Egypt's army statement said.
