Masked gunmen shot dead two Egyptian policemen on Thursday morning (June 16th) in the North Sinai provincial capital of al-Arish, Egypt's Ahram Online reported.
Four masked gunmen stormed the house where the two policemen were staying and opened fire on them, the interior ministry said in a statement.
Similar attacks on security personnel in the area have been linked to "Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant" (ISIL) affiliate Wilayat Sinai.
