Middle East air force commanders convene in Amman

The 2019 Middle East Air Forces Commanders conference opened Thursday (April 4th) in Amman, with the participation of 12 countries in the region, regional media reported.

The conference aims to highlight the latest developments in the field at the international level, draw useful lessons from air operations, plan for future air operations and unify regional air forces through joint exercises and training.

Jordan’s Prince Faisal bin al-Hussein opened the conference, which was organised by the Royal Jordanian Air Force Command.

He pointed to the importance of building partnerships based on mutual trust and respect, and said the conference is a sign of the commitment to enhance international and regional co-operation and partnership for achieving security, peace and stability.
