Five suspected al-Qaeda elements, including a local commander, were killed in a Sunday (November 25th) airstrike in central Yemen's al-Bayda province, AFP reported.
An official in al-Bayda province said the five suspects were armed and in a car when they were hit.
A local extremist leader known as "Dahab" ("Gold") was one of those who were killed, the official said. He gave no further details.
