KSRelief sends aid vessel to Yemen’s Socotra

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSRelief) on Monday (March 19th) sent a relief vessel from the port of al-Mukalla to the archipelago of Socotra, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

The aid, which is part of the Yemen Comprehensive Humanitarian Operation, includes 1,000 packets of dates weighing eight tonnes to benefit 6,000 of the most vulnerable people.

KSRelief’s policy is to deliver aid to all governorates of Yemen without discrimination, the SPA said.

On Saturday, KSRelief launched a campaign to distribute food aid to recently liberated al-Khokha and Hays in al-Hodeida province.

The campaign aims to deliver 22,273 food baskets to alleviate the suffering of those living in the two directorates, the news agency said.
