30 Jordanian firms to take part in Kuwait fair

Some 30 Jordanian industrial and trade companies are scheduled to take part in the 2nd Kuwait International Fair, set for February 6th to 10th, the Jordan Times reported Tuesday (January 16th).

The event will showcase hundreds of international companies, entrepeneurs and investors, according to the fair's official website.

It will be opened by Kuwait Emir Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Sabah.

Jordan’s participation is being organised by the International Promoters Company (IPCO) with the support of the Jordan Investment Commission and Amman Chamber of Industry, IPCO general manager Raed Abu Saadeh said.

The fair, which is one the "most important" international trade events, is an opportunity for business and industry stakeholders to exchange expertise and make deals, he said.

The event also will introduce Jordanian products to international investors, noting that Kuwait is one of the "promising" markets for Jordan in light of the closure of some traditional markets.
