Saudi Arabia, Jordan kick off military drills

A Saudi-Jordanian military drill dubbed "Yarmouk 2" began Sunday (November 12th) with the participation of the Saudi Armed Forces and the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

The one-week drill aims to enhance joint military co-operation and the exchange of expertise.

It also aims to improve rapid response to terrorist threats and future challenges and improve the urban combat skills of the participating troops, the Jordanian news agency, Petra, reported.
