Lebanon military court charges 5 Syrians with terror links

Lebanon’s military court has charged five Syrian suspects with belonging to the "Islamic State of Iraq and Syria" (ISIS) and with fighting against the Lebanese army, Lebanese media reported Monday (July 17th).

State Commissioner to Lebanon’s Military Court Judge Saqr Saqr charged the suspects with having planned to carry out terrorist attacks and for taking part in battles against the Lebanese army during the Arsal 2014 clashes, the National News Agency reported.

Early Monday, Syrian warplanes staged raids on militant positions in the outskirts of Arsal.
