Unknown assailants have shot dead an Egyptian Christian in North Sinai, AFP reported Monday (May 8th).
The assailants opened fire on the man in his 40s late Saturday on a street in the provincial capital of al-Arish, security officials said.
Previous attacks on Christians in the area have been claimed by the "Islamic State of Iraq and Syria" (ISIS), which has threatened more attacks against the Coptic Christian community.
