Egypt's army said it has killed 18 “highly dangerous terrorists” in different parts of North Sinai and arrested 37 suspects, Egypt's Ahram Online reported Sunday (March 19th).
Army forces killed the 18 suspected terrorists in airstrikes in the North Sinai provincial capital of al-Arish, Rafah and Sheikh Zuweid, the army spokesman said in a statement.
Egypt’s army and police forces have been battling the "Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant" (ISIL) in North Sinai.
