3 injured Syrians admitted to Jordan after alleged ISIL attack

Jordanian authorities have allowed three Syrians from the Rakban settlement near the border to enter the kingdom for medical treatment, the Jordan Times reported Monday (October 17th).

The move follows a Sunday suicide attack on an outpost manned by a Syrian opposition group at Rakban camp that has been blamed on the "Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant" (ISIL), which killed three people and injured at least 20.

More than 75,000 Syrians are stranded in the no-man’s-land near Jordan’s north-eastern border, which the kingdom sealed following a terror attack in June that killed seven soldiers.
