Egyptian security forces on Friday (August 19th) arrested the main suspect in the attempted August 5th assassination of former Grand Mufti Ali Gomaa, Egypt Independent reported.
In a Friday morning raid, security forces seized four automatic rifles, 14 magazines and a large number of bullets from the suspect's house.
The other suspects remain at large, and are being hunted by the police, according to a security source with the Giza Security Directorate.
