Lebanon army raids ISIL post near Arsal, arrests 4

A special Lebanese army unit raided an "Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant" (ISIL) post outside the northeastern border town of Arsal on Thursday (August 4th) and managed to arrest several terror suspects, Lebanese media reported.

According to the National News Agency, an army intelligence patrol attacked an ISIL post in Arsal's Wadi Ata area where it managed to arrest several "dangerous terrorists".

The detainees, who other news agencies described as two Lebanese nationals and two Syrians, were transferred to a military barracks and were later transferred to Beirut.
