Yemen delegation quits talks after Houthis reject deal

Yemen's government delegation to the peace talks decided to leave Kuwait on Monday (August 1st) after the Houthis rejected a draft peace plan proposed by the UN, AFP reported.

"We are leaving today after having completed our part in the talks," spokesman Mohammed al-Emrani said.

The delegation is returning to Riyadh after informing UN special envoy Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed it was ready to sign the proposed peace plan, he said.

The Houthis rejected the plan on Sunday, saying it was incomplete and insisting that any settlement must first tackle a unity administration.

If the Houthis agree to the plan, "our delegation will return", Emrani said.

I suggest to the Ansar Allah brothers and their allies not to concede even 1% to the traitors on the other side who have sold our country to the Saudi-Wahabi-Jewish enemy. The ball is at Ansar Allah’s court. For Yemen to remain victorious and become the master of the region, you have to humiliate the sons of Saud in Yemen; they’ve already been humiliated, but they must be further humiliated. Don’t rush with negotiations, and don’t give any concessions. Your battle with the enemy is for two goals desired by the enemy: first, it’s an existential battle; they want to wipe Yemen away. Second, they want to make Yemenis slaves for the sons of Saud and their people. You are the ones who Allah’s Prophet (PBUH) talked about and said that victory will be for you as the faithful. We’re waiting for the end of the sons of Saud, who are the sons of Jewish Banu Qaynuqa, and for the displacement of the people of the area and their return to tents in desert. This is because they have become tyrant and wreaked havoc on land.
