The Arab Coalition has intercepted two Houthi drones fired from Yemen’s Amran province targeting the southern Saudi city of Khamis Mushait, al-Arabiya reported Thursday (August 22nd).
All attempts by the Iran-backed Houthis (Ansarallah) to launch drones "are doomed to fail", Arab coalition spokesman Col. Turki al-Maliki said in a statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency.
The coalition undertakes "all operational procedures and best practices of rules of engagement to deal with these aircraft to protect civilians", it said.
