Egyptian, French naval forces conduct joint training

Egyptian and French naval forces on Sunday (September 22nd) conducted a transit naval training in the Mediterranean Sea, Egypt’s Ahram Online reported.

The training encompassed several activities, including sailing formations, and demonstrating the ability of participating naval units to position themselves accurately and rapidly.

It also included artillery practice for the protection of naval units while crossing dangerous areas, as well as training on the inspection of suspicious ships, and vertical transport of personnel and equipment by helicopters.

The training aims to enhance the skills and abilities of participating forces, and the exchange of expertise between the Egyptian and French sides to contribute to raising the combat efficiency of naval forces in both countries.
