Arab foreign ministers start meeting in Cairo

The 151st session of the Arab Foreign Ministers Council kicked off in the Arab League headquarters in Cairo on Wednesday (March 6th), Egypt’s Ahram Online reported.

The ministers are poised to discuss several joint action issues at the political, economic, security and cultural levels at the meeting, chaired by Somalia.

They also will review the draft agenda of the upcoming Arab summit that will be held in Tunis later this month.

The ministers will review recent developments in Syria and Libya, along with the situation in Yemen and Iran's occupation of three UAE islands, along with various other issues and concerns.

They also will seek a unified Arab stance on Iranian interference in Arab internal affairs.
