The Jordanian and Egyptian armed forces on Tuesday (December 11th) kicked off the "Aqaba 4" military drill, the Jordanian news agency, Petra, reported.
The two-week exercise aims to boost the relations between the armies of both countries and train the troops to conduct joint security-related tasks.
Troops, around 611 in total from both countries, will take part in training in activities designed to help them deal with the current regional situation, the agency said.
