Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani has received an invitation from Saudi Arabia to attend this month's Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC) summit, despite an ongoing diplomatic crisis, AFP reported Tuesday (December 4th).
Qatar News Agency said the emir had received "an invitation from the King of Saudi Arabia" for the meeting on December 9th, but did not say if the emir would travel to the kingdom.
