Minya bus attack victims stable or recovered: minister

Egyptian Health Minister Hala Zayed said the 12 Christians who were injured in a bus attack in Minya in which seven others were killed have recovered or are in stable condition, Ahram Online reported Thursday (November 7th).

The announcement came after Zayed paid a visit to the injured at Zayed Specialised Hospital.

Three of the injured remain in intensive care but are in stable condition, Zayed said, adding that four other patients are set to leave hospital after a making a full recovery.

Seven Christians were killed last Friday when their bus was attacked with firearms as they returned from the monastery of St. Samuel.

The “Islamic State of Iraq and Syria” (ISIS) claimed responsibility for the attack.
