Mobile homes delivered to Jordan’s Zaatari ahead of winter

The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO), in co-operation with the Syrian Refugee Affairs Directorate, has delivered a first batch of mobile homes to Zaatari camp, the Jordan Times reported Wednesday (October 10th).

The first delivery, which consisted of 110 pre-fabricated structures that will be used to house Syrian refugees, comes in preparation for the winter months, with further deliveries set to follow.

The mobile homes were donated by Helping Hand for Relief and Development and were received by the Syrian Refugee Affairs Directorate in Zaatari, in Jordan’s Mafraq governorate.

According to the JHCO, the first phase of the initiative was implemented in two batches of deliveries over the past two weeks.

The next phases will be completed as needed and in co-ordination with the directorate and organisations concerned with the needs and affairs of refugees.
