A first batch of Egyptian humanitarian aid to Yemen was dispatched on Thursday (April 5th), Egypt’s Ahram Online reported.
"The shipment, which consists of 10 tonnes of medicines, vaccines and medical material will arrive in Yemen on April 6th and 9th," the foreign ministry said in a statement.
The move reflects Egypt's firm support to the Yemeni people, the statement added.
