Two suspected members of al-Qaeda have been killed in an airstrike in central Yemen, AFP reported Friday (September 30th).
The two were lying under a tree in Rada, Bayda province, on Thursday when they were hit by an airstrike, a local government official said.
Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) and the "Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant" (ISIL) have sought to exploit the current conflict to expand their presence in Yemen.
