Five al-Qaeda suspects were killed in central Yemen on Tuesday (September 13th) in an airstrike that targeted their vehicle, AFP reported.
The late Tuesday strike in the Baida province town of Rada targeted a car carrying the suspected al-Qaeda elements, a tribal chief said.
Al-Qaeda and the "Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant" (ISIL) have exploited the current conflict in Yemen to expand their presence in the Arabian peninsula.
